Attendees of the 2018 Ultra Music Festival in Miami will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the world-famous fest this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. While crowds groove to Marshmello, Infected Mushroom and Flosstradamus, downtown residents are breaking out the earplugs. Or preparing to flee.

“I’m going to Davie this year,” said Kabbani. “The vast majority of people leave. If you stay, it’s like living in a nightclub.”
